2005 Buck

This buck played games with me for a bit on Public land.After having to relocate the stand twice, i finally made it come together. Useing doe in heat scent(Code Blue) and some rattling and grunting he came in to within bow range for me to get a good shot on him.

My best guess is 3-3 1/2 yr old. He lacked the mass i like to see. If it would have been private land buck i would have let it walk for a couple more yrs.

I live about 1 1/2 hr southwest of Chicago, and all our public land parks are swarmed by these guys. Nothing is safe in the woods.
