We bought a new electronic deer feeder and Hubby and Silaw put it up last Friday. So far it doesn't look like the deer have found it, but are getting close. Yesterday Hubby seen them just a little bit away from it.
I am going to have to put up the camera to get some shots. I was waiting until the deer found it and started feeding good so the camera wouldn't scare them.
Gdaughter [12] was riding on the place the other day and sort of lost in the downed tree tops and rode right into what she called the biggest buck she had ever seen. She was so excited. She said he just stood and looked at her for a bit before taking off. She finally found her way out of the tops and back to a trail and found her Paw and told him all about it. She said it would make 2 of the one that we have mounted. Now the question is: what family memeber is going to see it again and perhaps bag it?
Bow season starts Sept. 15 and son in law is ready. He has planted food plots all over. So the deer should be fairly plentiful. I know just driving aroun the place the other evening we counted 10. :)
